Took some time off and went to Monument Valley for a couple days. Drove the 17-mile loop thru the valley in the morning and took a guided tour in the afternoon (off the beaten path). Both were worthwhile adventures (Bottom 2 Pics). From the hotel room, saw sunrise (Top Left) and afternoon sun just before sunset (Top Right). A most unique American landscape. It is difficult to imagine the size and breadth of the terrain — one must see it up close.
